ZipMed Urgent Care Center provides healthcare services and care on a walk-in basis for many minor injuries and illnesses when your doctor’s office is closed. Patients are seen based on the medical severity of their issues, so it’s possible that a patient who arrived after you may be seen before you. However, your care and comfort are important to us, and we strive to see each patient as promptly as possible.

Because we value your time, we ask that new patients provide:

  • Photo ID
  • Current insurance card
  • List of all current medications, herbs and supplements being taken
  • List of any medication allergies
  • Co-pay if required *

ZipMed Urgent Care Center can treat minor injuries and illnesses, including:

  • Sprains, strains and fractures
  • Minor cuts and burns
  • Colds, flu, painful sore throats, sinus problems, upper respiratory infections, viruses, seasonal illnesses
  • Eye or ear infections
  • Rashes
  • Insect bites and stings
  • Routine headaches
  • Upset stomach
  • Urinary tract infections

We also provide:

  • Physicals for sports, school, CDL, DOT and pre-employment
  • Occupational health injuries and screenings
  • Drug screenings for employment, pre-employment, DOT and more

Healthcare services available include:

  • Lab testing
  • Testing for strep throat, flu, mono, pregnancy, STDs, cultures, urinalysis, glucose, drug testing
  • Splints, temporary casting
  • Suturing
  • Breathing treatments
  • Simple wound care

Patients with any life-threatening condition including the following should go to the nearest Emergency Room:

  • Chest pain or shortness of breath
  • Uncontrollable bleeding
  • Infants with a fever under three months old
  • Pain management
  • Psychiatric treatment
  • Head injury with loss of consciousness
  • One sided weakness, facial weakness, difficulty expressing words, visual disturbances, difficulty swallowing
  • Severe allergic reaction
  • Chronic medical care

CDL Physicals

We provide the utmost in convenience to CDL drivers needing to complete their physical examination. We perform CDL physicals on a walk-in, on-demand basis at all times during our open hours, seven days a week. Drivers may present for their exam anytime from 8:00AM to 7:00PM Monday through Friday, and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Saturdays and Sundays. All of our providers are certified examiners by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). We even have truck parking on-site. The cost for a CDL physical examination is $89.00.

* Co-pays or other payments are due in advance at the time of service. If you are involved in an auto accident, you will need to pay the full amount at the time care is provided and submit paperwork to your insurance company for reimbursement.
